Run away-ay with me
Lost souls in revelry
Running wild and running free
Two kids, you and me
And I said hey
Hey, hey, hey
Living like we’re renegades
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Living like we’re renegades
Renegades, renegades
Long live the pioneers
Rebels and mutineers
Go forth and have no fear
Come close and lend an ear
And I said hey
Hey, hey, hey
Living like we’re renegades
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Living like we’re renegades
Renegades, renegades
So, all hail the underdogs
All hail the new kids
All hail the outlaws
Spielbergs and Kubricks
It’s our time to make a move
It’s our time to make amends
It’s our time to break the rules
Let’s begin…
And I said hey
Hey, hey, hey
Living like we’re renegades
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Living like we’re renegades
Renegades, renegades
There comes a point in ones life where we may finally realize how much wasted time has passed behind us never to return, how many opportunities slipped by because we couldn’t see the forest for the trees. But it’s never too late to grab hold of the time we have left and pursue a better path, never too late to make amends.

“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!”
A positive notion indeed, but there’s more to it than that simple quote. Effort is needed to transform a solid to a liquid, sugar is needed to transform sour to sweet. Repetitive motion to stir the outcome, a strengthening of muscles long idle due to a dispassionate soul. Fitness is more than a physical ideal, it is an emotional embrace of all that is pure and sacred.

Like the tires on my truck, emotional fitness needs to be replaced as it wears down. Many outside influences tear away at our grip on a soul at peace and draw us into a deep well of troubles. Only through a focus of mind can we push aside the worn out ideals from the past and see a way through to a better life. Sometimes rules must be broken, it’s time for me to begin.

As I walk my best friend around a truck stop today I pass the hotel I stayed at for 8 days as my father died in hospice almost 2 years ago. (my room was the one with the red bow) Instantly I feel the same foreboding sense of loss and pain, the same crush of helpless sorrow. Sometimes the lemons stay sour no matter how hard you try.

And yet if one looks past the memories of times we can not change, one may see all the trees before us. Loyal friends eager to please, full of support and joy for the simple things in life. Always with a happy wag, the look of love in their eyes. Mans best friend becomes mans best teacher. If you set aside what you have no control over, dispense with the regret of past mistakes, you can find a better way.
Go Forth And Have No Fear I say, let go all that holds you back. Dig deep for the strength that resides in you and follow your dreams wherever they may lead. Even though the road may look like it ends, look again and see the mountains beyond and find what’s around the next corner.
There’s normally a better way. Just that sometimes we can’t see the wood for the trees. I think Brandy is a real snow lover. She looks great!

I think I write to influence myself more than anything else, but if others find what I write enjoyable all the better! And Brandy…she just loves everything!

People are getting told that they have a price to pay for who someone else says they were 30-40 years ago. I wonder how many people are going to get yanked off the path they want because of things not related to who they are?
